neonstargazers asked: First off: why would two pieces of metal wielded together at a perpendicular angle be hopeful and inspiring if it was not related to religion? What the hell would it mean? Why would it be inspiring to anyone? Did you even think that through?
Secondly: Why wouldn't all religions need to be represented? Are they just somehow less important than the Christians who died that day?

neonstargazers asked: In regards to your latest post: the reason why Atheists are demanding that a cross not be put up is precisely because we are respectful of everyone's beliefs. Here's a little tidbit for you: people of all faiths died that day. Putting up a cross and no other religious symbols is a disservice to those who died who might have been Buddhists, Hindu, Jewish, Atheists, or any other religion....
